Testing and Inspection

At HS Electrical Services, we inspect and test all connections and appliances before use. Upon confirmation, an Electrical Installation Certificate will be issued together with a Schedule of Inspection and a Schedule of Test Results.

Minor works are any additions to an existing installation that do not culminate in a new connection being made at your consumer unit; for example an additional socket outlet or lighting switches within an existing circuit. For each addition a Minor Works Certificate will be issued. As electrical connections deteriorate with age, we recommended that a Periodic Inspection & Test Certificate be issued at the change of occupancy or within a 10 year period.
